Why "Billiard"? |
Nicknames are a part of life. In my years I have received probably more than my fair share, but who's complaining? (Call me whatever you like, just don't call me late for pizza!) When I consider all of the various handles that have been stuck on me, "Billiard" remains one of my favorites. So in answer to "Why 'Billiard'?": Why not!

Where was I born? Where did I grow up? Where do I live? (Where have all the flowers gone?) This page will (hopefully!) give you the answers to these and more questions about me and my life.

Brazil is a huge country. I have lived and worked in it off and on since the early '90's. I have included just a bit here about the history, people and language.

| Everyone has an opinion, right? Well, I'm no
different than anyone else. Sometimes I've been told to sit down and
shut up, even threatened once with physical violence if I didn't keep
my opinion to myself. But here is my opportunity to put it up for the
whole world to see. (And if you still don't like my opinion, you're

Science Fiction just happens to be one of my favorite literary genres. Maybe it has something to do with the same drive that led me to spend nine and a half years of my life studying Physics and Astronomy (see About Billiard). Maybe I'm just a space cadet. Either way, I have a personal vested interest in the works of Roy W. Penn, and so here on this site I am promoting them.
